About
Renzo Tat MBAcC
Welcome, My Name is Renzo, and I’m here to support your health and wellbeing.
For over four decades I’ve dedicated my life to understanding how the body moves, heals and restores balance. My journey began in 1980 with Feng Shao a traditional Chinese health and martial art system, and that foundation continues to shape the way I support you today.
A holistic approach built on experience
My early training in Kung Fu and Qi Gong introduced me to the deep connection between movement, breath, and internal health. This led me to formal study in Anatomy, Physiology, Massage, Shiatsu, Tui Na and Traditional Chinese Medicine Acupuncture.
Each stage of my training has added another layer to the way I work, giving you access to a blend of techniques designed to ease pain, reduce stress and improve overall wellbeing.
Professional training you can trust
-
I began clinical practice in 1989 after completing my ITEC qualification in Anatomy, Physiology and Massage.
-
Between 1994 and 1997 I trained at the British School of Shiatsu-Do, becoming a Shiatsu practitioner.
-
In 1999 I completed advanced Tui Na training, including residential study at He Bei Medical University in China.
-
I earned my BSC in Traditional Chinese Medicine Acupuncture from the University of Westminster and became a registered member of the British Acupuncture Council in 2003.
Care designed around you
I run a calm, welcoming clinic in Sydenham, South East London, where I offer acupuncture and meridian-based bodywork with a focus on:
-
Pain management
-
Stress reduction
-
Restoring balance and mobility
-
Support long-term wellbeing
Martial arts for health, strength, and balance
My journey started in 1980 when I trained in Feng Shao an internal Chinese martial art for about eighteen months, In 1982 I was introduced to Wing Chun and in 1992 I was introduced to Zhan Zhuang Qi Gong.
Alongside my clinical work, I teach:
-
Wing Chun Kung Fu, a practical, effective martial training that builds coordination, confidence, and body awareness
-
Zhan Zhuang Qi Gong, standing meditation and internal strength practices that improve posture, grounding, and overall vitality
-
Training is offered in small, supportive groups to ensure close guidance and steady progress.
-
Teaching Wing Chun and Qi Gong in small groups allows trainees to develop confidence, and awareness at their own pace.
Working from home allows me to keep treatments and training accessible and affordable.
Your wellbeing is at the heart of my practice
Whether you’re seeking relief from discomfort, looking to manage stress, or wanting to study health and martial arts, my aim is to provide a safe, grounded, and personalised experience.
I look forward to supporting you on your journey towards better health and fitness.
